Dave Lam
Managing Principal

Dave grew up in a working-class family that worked in small businesses and taught him the values of integrity, hard work, and respect. Prior to founding Oakwood Legacy, he was a Procurement and Logistics Section Chief for the US Coast Guard leading teams to manage service and maintenance agreements with the ship building industry. Earlier in his career, he served as a US Air Force Contracting Officer of over 7 years. As a signatory for portfolios of up to $250M, he oversaw supply chain teams responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing vendor performance for small-to-medium businesses and public companies across various industries at multiple bases to include an undisclosed location during Operation Inherent Resolve. He managed a Congressional financial audit response program while ensuring performance and quality for a $35B UAV production program. Dave also has experience as a real estate consultant, property manager, and LP in private real estate investments. Living a life of service, he served as the head of logistics and platform technology for a nonprofit NGO, Help Ukraine 22, responsible for rendering humanitarian aid to children and maternity hospitals in the recent conflict in Ukraine. Dave holds a BS in Biology from the US Air Force Academy, an MS in Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Management, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Jason Doyle
Managing Partner

Jason Doyle is a Rhode Island native residing in Florida who brings an extensive background in analytics, consulting, management, and organizational operations to the team as a managing partner. As a former Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank, he has a unique skill set inclusive of complex risk analysis and investment strategies, strong client relationship building, integrating estate planning, financial analysis, and bespoke lending solutions. Prior to his work at Bank of America, Jason served in the United States Army and Air Force as a non-commissioned officer in multiple countries across North America, Asia, and Europe. His decades of military experience comes him with an understanding of combat, peacekeeping efforts, humanitarian aid, and true leadership. Jason also worked in a leadership role as Sales Director for HB Alarms, playing an integral role in growing the company revenue by 10x over the course of 5 years before being sold. He earned his BS in Business Administration, Finance at the University of Rhode Island and holds an MBA and an MS in Finance from Boston College, an MS in Public Accountancy and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning from Rhode Island College. In his free time, Jason enjoys traveling, playing guitar, volunteering, and learning new things.
